THE SCOPE OF OUR PRACTICE

Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a set of professional services offered to individuals with mental, physical or psychological disabilities. Vocational rehabilitation services are specifically designed to enable these individuals to attain skills, resources, attitudes and expectations needed to achieve a lifestyle of independence and integration within their workplace, family and local community.
Our members serve clients with a wide range of impairments due to any loss or abnormality of psychological, physiological, or anatomical structure or function.
VRA Canada members continue to advance their knowledge through continuing education and professional development within their own discipline, and through the shared 'best practices' of other related disciplines. Our goal is to foster trans-disciplinary collaboration, to improve client care and to maintain the highest level of professional competency.
Together, we are a single multidisciplinary source of
vocational rehabilitation experts.
