In 2025, our community gathered in the vibrant coastal city of St. John’s, Newfoundland, for a truly unforgettable conference experience. Centered on the theme Rock Solid Foundations for the Future, the event offered a robust lineup of expert-led sessions, engaging keynotes, and valuable opportunities to earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

Set against the stunning harbor and historic charm of St. John’s, the conference blended professional development with meaningful connections and cultural exploration. Attendees enjoyed curated sessions on timely topics, dynamic networking events, and an atmosphere that encouraged growth and collaboration.

For those unable to attend in person, seven virtual sessions were available to ensure accessible participation. Companions of conference-goers also had the chance to explore local attractions, including Quidi Vidi Brewery, The Rooms Museum, and the Johnson GEO CENTRE at Signal Hill. One of the most memorable moments? A traditional Newfoundland “Screech-In” ceremony—welcoming visitors as honorary Newfoundlanders!

This was more than a conference, it was a celebration of professional community, learning, and the unique spirit of Newfoundland.
